Nice piece of meat?
If you've always wanted to go backstage at an abattoir look out for Richard Johnson's new TV series which starts next week. It's called Kill It, Cook It, Eat It, and brings together two key moments that are usually separated in our lives and minds: the death of an animal and the eating of its meat. It's on BBC3 all week. The first programme -- Beef -- is Monday March 5 at 10.30pm, followed by Lamb on Tuesday, Pork on Wednesday, and Chicken on Thursday.
